Ethical Physical Therapy Association Founding Mission: To preserve and protect the rights and dignities of ethical physical therapists providing quality professional physical therapy services in physician-based settings. Expanded Mission: The Ethical Physical Therapy Association (EPTA) by request has expanded its Founding Mission to include Physician Practices and their respective representatives. Adopted in spring of 2004, EPTA incorporated the following as an addendum to its Founding Mission: “To preserve and protect the legal rights of physicians to include physical therapy services as an integral Scope of their medical practice." Today’s EPTA Mission: 1) To preserve and protect the rights and dignities of ethical physical therapists providing quality professional physical therapy service in physician-based settings. 2) To preserve and protect the legal rights of physicians to include Physical Therapy Services as an integral and qualitative Scope of their Medical Practices. |
