E.P.T.A. 2006 Objectives

1) To provide a common networking forum for physical therapists and other ancillary health care professionals working within physician-based settings.

2) To provide a common networking forum for Administrators and representatives of physician practices providing physical therapy and other ancillary services within their Medical Practices.

3) To collect and disseminate relevant, timely, and accurate information pertaining to physician-based physical therapy and other ancillary services.

4) To increase national, individua,l and group membership enrollment to EPTA.

5) To assist physical therapists and physician groups in National and State lobbying efforts.

6) To gather and collect patient outcomes, patient case studies, patient testimonials, patient satisfaction, payor service, patient financial advantages from physician-based physical therapy services.

7) To increase awareness of national and state anti- “POPTS” (Physician Owned Physical Therapy Services) initiatives by local and national organizations.
